About Dr. Gabi

Gabriela Toutin Dias, M.S.c, Psy.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts, providing specialized care for children, adolescents, and adults navigating complex medical and emotional experiences. I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in Health Psychology, from William James College, as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the University of São Paulo’s Medical School, in Brazil.

My experience is rooted in advanced clinical training within academic medical settings, including Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, where I developed a deep understanding of how physical health, emotional wellbeing, and identity intersect.

I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals navigating chronic illness, medical trauma, and complex presentations that require a nuanced and integrated approach. Many of those I work with have felt misunderstood or unheard within the healthcare system, and part of my role is to create a space where their experiences are fully recognized and thoughtfully addressed.

My clinical approach is driven by evidence-based interventions and shaped by a careful, individualized understanding of each person’s experience. I consider the broader context in which symptoms emerge, including medical, developmental, and relational factors, and work to help patients and families make sense of these complexities in a way that feels clear and workable. Treatment is always collaborative and paced thoughtfully, with an emphasis on building insight, strengthening coping, and supporting a process that is intentional, grounded, and responsive to each individual’s needs.

I deliberately maintain a small caseload, allowing for a highly individualized approach to care. This structure is designed to offer a concierge-level of psychological support, including coordination across providers and schools as needed, which is often difficult to achieve in more traditional settings.
